Serving Our Community Since 1970

Highland Village Women's Club is a non-profit organization that has worked hard to serve the various municipal services of Highland Village since July 1970. Club objectives were established and thirty-eight years later those objectives remain the same.

To promote friendship, cooperation and communications among the women of Highland Village and the Greater Lewisville area.
To provide a forum to exchange ideas in various areas of interest.
To foster civic pride in Highland Village as well as the Greater Lewisville area and to work with its leaders for the improvement of the area as a whole.
To hold various fundraiser annually with the percentage of the profits dispersed within the city of Highland Village for community needs.

"Gifts From The Heart" is held in February every year. At this meeting, the club votes on monies raised during the year to disperse out to the community. Our outreach committee does research, comprises a list and presents it to the club for a vote. Quote: "Everyone looks forward to our "Gifts From The Heart" meeting. It is a wonderful feeling to work hard at our fund raising efforts and then turn around & give it back to our community." SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Spring Clean-Up Saturday, April 4, 2009
The Highland Village Women's Club was the first organization in Highland Village to adopt a spot in the Keep Highland Village Beautiful program 12 years ago. The Club adopted the stretch of road that enters The City of Highland Village from "The Village Grill to the City Complex". Quote: "We wanted the entrance to our city to appear clean and beautiful". Every year, we choose a couple of dates and invite our club to come out, meet for coffee and clean "Our stretch of the city!" It is a fun, bonding time for all of us and it makes us feel proud to do something for our community. Joni Thompson We will have a few photos of all of us working on the road.
